BRAXXON News - BRAXXON and Gatehouse Bank plc
Gatehouse Bank plc announced last week that it had received its licence as the fifth Islamic Bank to be authorised by the FSA to operate in the UK. BRAXXON were engaged in June 2007 as Programme Manager for the process of implementing the operating systems and designing the processes, a core part of the establishment of the new bank and in obtaining FSA authorisation. Over the following nine months BRAXXON supported the new bank with a small team of experienced investment banking consultants in the following areas.
· Overall programme management for the set-up project.
· Design of the Target Operating Model.
· Detailed process and procedure documentation.
· System selection and implementation.
· Interim Operations Management and staff training.
